Hotel Block Information
We have reserved a block of rooms for a discounted group rate at Aloft Silicon Valley in Newark (located about a mile from the venue.) This group rate includes daily continental breakfast. To book, please click the link below or call Marriot Reservations at (888) 236-2427 and identify yourself as part of the Bernard-Delia Wedding.
The last day to book is Saturday, August 26th. Standard rooms are $99 per night & Double Kings are $119 per night.
Please note: If you'd like to stay longer than the dates of our block, please call Marriot Reservations at (888) 236-2427. They will need to book a separate reservation outside of the block for the night(s) you need and then book within our block starting Thursday, 9/7.
Covid Rapid Tests Available
We are excited to celebrate with you all and want to do so safely.
If you are flying in, we will have Covid rapid tests available to take prior to the wedding. This is to ensure the health & safety of our friends & family, as well as elderly and immunocompromised guests (we will have some 80 & 90-year-olds in attendance, as well as Michelle's 100-year-old aunt).
If you want to pick up a free rapid test, please contact Michelle’s mom, Elaine Bernard, at (408) 859-7097. She will have plenty available at the Aloft Hotel. If you aren’t feeling well or are exhibiting any symptoms, we ask that you please let us know and stay home.
Other Places to Stay
Courtyard by Marriot Newark Silicon Valley & Residence Inn Newark Silicon Valley are other hotel options located close to Ardenwood Historic Farm.
You are also more than welcome to book an AirBnb, VRBO, or stay in another part of the Bay Area during your visit.
Airports
For out of town guests, there are 3 airports in the Bay Area to choose from: San Francisco International Airport (SFO), San Jose International Airport (SJC), & Oakland International Airport (OAK). These airports are about a 30-minute drive to the venue without traffic.
If you are not planning on renting a car, we recommend using rideshares, like Uber or Lyft.
Getting Around the Bay With Uber and Lyft
While there are many transportation options in the Bay, the easiest and hassle-free is most likely Uber and/or Lyft. These Apps can be downloaded on your phone and will allow you to hail a ride from the airport to your hotel or hotel to the venue.
If you are using these apps to get to Ardenwood the day of, we would recommend Reserving a Ride so that they are more likely to come on time. You can Reserve a ride with Uber here: www.uber.com/us/en/ride/how-it-works/reserve/.
